The Judicial Interim Release program commonly known as Bail Supervision provides an alternative to remanding an accused person in custody pending trial/sentencing.  Program staff prepare reports for the court to assist in the decision making process.

If a release is recommended appropriate conditions are suggested for the Court's approval.  The program also provides intensive supervision for select accused released in the community to ensure they comply with the conditions of their bail and appear in court as required.  This level of involvement allows quick responses to non-compliant accused which may result in a Violation Report being submitted to the proper authorities such as the prosecutor or the police.

In some cases a client may require more intensive supervision upon release which can be accomplished through the use of an electronic monitor.
